Master Gao conducts this class with a touch of elegance rarely seen in the Martial Artists. You will learn basic Shaolin stretching techniques, warm ups and hand-sets along with a touch of Tai Chi. This is definitely a class to take if you have what it takes to commit into an art form that requires high discipline.
Tai Chi emphasizes the awareness of the relationship of one's body moving harmoniously under the direction of the mind to the environment. Learning to move harmoniously is much more than a physical exercise. With practice, the student learns to send messages that result in a fluidity of movement. While the vehicle is the physical body, the development is mainly that of the mind.
Tai Chi will help strengthen your muscles and bones, improves flexibility, endurance, coordination and reflexes and also helps promote blood circulation.
